Yoni Steam Recipes:
Cleansing Herbs:
Basil, Milk Thistle, Rose, Calendula, and Motherwort
Limit use if your period is less than 28 days
Blood Building:
Motherwort, Nettles, Oatstraw, Parsley, and Raspberry Leaf
Hydrating:
Hibiscus, Lemon Balm, Nettles, Oatstarw, and Red clover
Disinfecting:
Lavender, Oregano, Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme
Digestion:
Citrus Peel, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Lemongrass, and Mint
Decrease Bleeding:
Antihemorrhagic
Mugwort/ Yarrow
Uterus Strengthing:
Ashwagandha, Gingsing, Rosemary, and Yarrow
Painful Period: 28 days or longer
- 6 cups of water
- 2 tsp motherwort
- 2 tsp nettles
- 1/tsp thyme
- 1 tsp orange peel
Vaginal Dryness:
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp lemon balm
Healing:
- 1 cup red raspberry leaf
- 1/4 cup lavender
- 1/4 cup rosemary
- 1/4 cup lemon balm
- 1/4 cup yarrow leaves
- 1/8 cup dried rose petals
- dash of sea salt
Start By:
-Mix all ingredients to blend
-Pour 8 cups of water into a pot and bring water to a soft boil with lid on
-Add V-steam ingredients to pot and continue to boil for 5 minutes
-Remove from heat and pour into the v-steam pot of choice
-Wave hands over steam to test temperature
-Sit on the seat above the steaming water
-Drape yourself in sheet or other covering from the waist down, ensuring no steam escapes
-Sit for 10-12 minutes until the steam subsides
-Pour contents into the toilet and clean pot for future use
